History Of Precision & Passion

As a 3rd generation machinist, Adam was born into a family of machines and it’s no surprise that he started learning machining starting from the age 7! From his grandfather, great-grandfather, and 2 great-uncles, he inherited his passion for the craft. His grandfather was his mentor and taught him manual machining on a South Bend Lathe. He started him off with projects with loose tolerances but quickly progressed to turning projects within 0.001 tolerance by the age of 9. The craftsmanship of machining wasn’t the only skill he learned from his grandfather. He also learned woodworking that became a bonus when Missouri Precision Machining was founded. After his grandfather passed away, Adam dabbled in electronics and pursued a career in public service as a firefighter/paramedic for years. But his love for machining and manufacturing never truly vanished. When he started passing the trade down to his own children, he realized how much he missed it. And so, Missouri Precision Machining was born, utilizing both the technology of CNC machining and manual machining. Being a family business has become a goal Adam set for himself. And that’s exactly what Missouri Precision Machining is all about – being first responder-owned and family-owned and operated.  Whether it be a prototype you just need 1 of or a production run of thousands, Let us show you the difference.
